Data
acquisition at OMB takes place in two stages. Click below for details
on each step.

The first stage of the data
acquisition is signal conditioning.
At present, our signal conditioners are set up
to accommodate a total of 96 channels, 24 of which are for
bridge sensors and the remaining for other transducers. These feed through a
custom designed signal conditioning system utilizing Burr-Brown
instrumentation amplifiers, filters, and bridge sensors. In addition, custom
designed wave probe signal conditioners add up to 16 more wave probe
channels. Designed as a modular setup, more channels of signal conditioning
are easily added.
