Waves- Waves are generated with a servo controlled hydraulically driven bottom pivoted flap. The maximum height of regular waves is 28 inches (0.7m). The range of periods is from 0.8 to 7 seconds.

Irregular waves are generated by exciting the flap with a computer program that produces a wave train of any desired spectral density.
